1. Overview and Commitment

Payeny Inc. (“Payeny,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information and that of your clients. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our client-to-cash platform, API, and associated services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when creating an account, onboarding clients, issuing invoices, and configuring custom client spaces:

  • Account Information: Name, business name, email address, password hash, and billing address.
  • Financial and Payment Data: Payment credentials and bank account connection tokens processed securely through our PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant gateway partners (including Stripe). Payeny does not store raw credit card numbers.
  • Client Relationship Data: Contact details, proposals, contract documents, digital signatures, deliverable files, and invoice histories you upload to the platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

We utilize collected information to deliver, support, and enhance our services, including:

  • Facilitating client intake, proposal delivery, contract execution, and invoice settlement.
  • Generating cryptographic audit trails for digital signatures in compliance with the ESIGN and UETA acts.
  • Delivering automated payment receipts and system notifications on your behalf.
  • Preventing fraudulent transactions and ensuring overall system integrity.

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Processors

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or client data to third parties. We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate our infrastructure, such as payment gateways (Stripe), email delivery engines, and cloud hosting providers under strict confidentiality agreements.

5. Security & Data Retention

We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards, including TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, and automated audit logging. You retain full ownership of your client records and may request data export or account deletion at any time.
